Welcome to Trees For Portage

	Trees For Portage, Inc. is a nonprofit citizen action group whose mission is to promote a healthy urban forest.
	The purpose and goals of "Trees" is to assist and provide input to the City Forester and City Council on the best ways to preserve, protect, expand and improve the City’s urban forestry resources and to act as a voice between the community and the City. The Board is an educational resource for the city and community.
	Trees For Portage, Inc. holds non-profit 501(c) (3) status with the IRS. All donation to Trees For Portage, Inc. are tax deductible.
